  1. I stayed at the Anantara Maldives Resort with my boyfriend a couple of months ago. It was so beautiful… everything was perfect. The food was one of the best aspects, and I really like food. I had never tasted such amazing fresh seafood… lobster almost every night of the trip. Of course, the water in the Maldives was really impressive and our room was just beyond belief. The bed was so comfortable and the suite was so romantic. On our last night, my boyfriend proposed under the stars on the beach. I couldnt have asked for a more romantic marriage proposal and I hope we get to go somewhere this amazing for our honeymoon. Anantara = 10/10 from us!

We went to Anantara for my 30th birthday, we stayed in a beach villa on the sunset side which was lovely. No cars, no noise, just breathtaking beaches and dive sites. The grill and Italian restaurant are great. People are friendly too, I would highly recommend this resort!

  3. Anne says:

Beautiful resort, stunning beaches and we are very pleased that we stayed in the beach bungalows. We visited 3 islands in the 12 days that we are there. The food was really good, we ate everything!

  4. Denise says:

This resort has exceeded our expectation. I would really recommend this resort to anyone. The scenery was more beautiful than the pictures we saw on the internet.

We stayed in a sunset beach front villa in Dhigu, the room was amazing and the staff cleaned it everyday and always left us with very nice surprises. The only thing that I had a comment was the food, I think it was overpriced.

  5. Mike says:

Anantara was a lovely resort and I would highly recommend the over water bungalow to anyone. Our room was located on the last room which has a good privacy for honeymooners.

  6. Alice says:

Such a fantastic place! Great hospitality by the time we left the airport. The Anantara crew was there to help and welcome as on board. We stayed in Dhigu which is more beautiful and bigger than Veli.

I was so impressed with the amazing beauty of this place. I didn’t expect it to be even more beautiful than the pictures on the internet. The sunset deluxe bungalows are expensive but they are worth the money. There’s a variety of six restaurants to choose from, 3 in Dhigu and 3 in Veli.

There are many water activities available everyday, so no one can get bored.

  7. Jon says:

We choose Anantara because it’s near on the airport, we stayed on the over water villa. The staff are amazing, how can they keep on smiling so genuinely all day? The food was great, we like the Thai. It’s really hard to leave, we enjoyed every minute we were there. Thanks to all the staff of Anantara, they are always around.
