Deep End Restaurant At The Taj Exotica Hotel

maldives restaurant 001p1 Deep End Restaurant At The Taj Exotica

Along with the many well regarded restaurants at the Taj Exotica is the Deep End restaurant.  The Deep End restaurant is more on the formal side of dining. So leave your sandy swim wear and board shorts behind for a formal dining experience on Frette linen set tables and a very long intense wine list that includes classics like Robert Mondavi To-Kalon I-Block Fumé Blanc.

Upon entering the Deep End restaurant you realize that the restaurant is actually a overwater dining room. With that great ambiance and tropical island dining feel is exceptional food. Along with all the great wine and dine at the Deep End, guests get to experience the great flavors with a romantically lit, marble and polised woods, and tables spread out a nice distance from one another.

We highly recommend the Moroccan-spiced spiny lobster medallions, fresh barramundi in a warm Seville orange mustard fizz.

With great wine comes great foie gras and its the best of the best of both at the Deep End restaurant. The menu is a long long list of tempting and mouthwatering courses and deserts. I reckon that guests should frequent the Deep End and try something new because its just so confusing. But as the food arrive the table coupled with your choice of wine, all that confusion becomes a great big blanket of culinary comfort and amazement. Choosing your meal will is going to be a tad taxing as you get a sensory taste crave overload upon gazing on the long list of gastronomical wonders to arrive at your table.

When we left, we were always given 2 small jars of lovely ground coffee, to enjoy the next morning, wrapped in sellophane and tied with gold twine. The service needless to say was amazing.

It is always a good idea to go back again and again for another delightful culinary and relaxing experience at the Deep End restaurant of the Taj Exotica Maldives.
