Two years ago a group of friends and ourselves went for xmas and new year to the sister island Club Faru and was one of the most amazing holidays ever and we have been all over the world. However due to the hotel overbooking for one night my husband and me were fortunate enough to be sent to fihilohi for two days and one night. Upon arrival the island was breath taking, romantic hamocks drapped in the trees and you dont have to go far to experience an amazing coral reef. The food is bland and not as nice as Faru but if your after losing a few pounds then food isn’t that important and you cant always purchase from the snack bar. So much so, we have booked to go back. We are flying Xmas day for two weeks and we were so lucky to have been able to book a water bungalow. Merry Xmas indeed! If you thinking of going go. You wont be disappointed!

This was my second trip to Fehalhohi Island Resort, and it was better than the first!

The staff is absolutely wonderful, and try really hard to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Also, they make a real effort to be efficient and get things done in a timely fashion.

Our room was comfortable and spacious, with a gorgeous terrance and beautiful view of the ocean. Although sand tends to blow in, the cleaning staff is extremely good at making sure not a spec remains after their visit!

The food, guests and activities were all top notch. I love mingling with people from other countries, and there were some French, Spanish, Russian, Japanese…Quite a United Nations!

The house reef was awesome! We spotted so many different types of fish and some turtles. The reef is easily accessible and there was so much to see that time just flew by!

Faihalhohi Island Resort is a great deal for your money…Be careful, you won’t want to leave the Maldives!
