I just came back from this resort and I really had a lovely time. We stayed in a beach bungalow, our room was nearest to the sand bank at the end of the island and have the most private positions.

We dine in some of the restaurants on the island, the buffet which was themed to a different country every night of our stay was so good that there was no need to go elsewhere. There were also two cooking stations where fresh fish, meat and pasta was prepared for you while you waited.

My husband and I stayed at kuramathi in a beach bungalow to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary. The village is doing some renovation but it did not spoil our holiday. The main restaurant was outstanding, we were all inclusive which includes all the cocktails, we did try a few different ones which the waiters recommend.

  5. Brooke says:

This is our first trip to Maldives and we stayed in Kuramathi. Our beach bungalow room was right on the beach, perfect room and perfect location. We spent two weeks taking hundreds of photos of the flora and fauna, snorkelling, swimming, eating, drinking and generally feeling very very relaxed.
The snorkeling and diving is out of this world. My husband learnt to dive here and they told him he was now spoilt as there is nowhere like it on earth. All the dive school team were exceptionally professional and very friendly.

  6. Melissa says:

Just returned from our third holiday to the Maldives and this time we tried Kuramathi. It was far better than we expected, the place was amazing!!! Luxury and adventure combined. The food was superb, lots of choices and hot. Beaches were beautiful, clean and white. Great service and helpful staff on the island.

  7. Faye says:

We spent the Christmas vacation on this resort and the island was really lovely. The staff were very helpful, friendly and responsive to our requests. The food was amazing, they had a pretty good wine bar if you want a better quality wine. We also took an advanced open water course while we were there. The dive center is an independent operation run by mostly German, Swedish and Dutch instructors. The diving was top notch and we saw many shark and rays which is always a treat.

  8. Justin says:

It was our first visit to the Maldives and we really enjoyed our vacation. We stayed in a beach bungalow at the Kuramathi Blue Lagoon. We had booked a fully inclusive package but we also dine to some of the other restaurants, the buffet which was themed to a different country every night was excellent. The staff were friendly and the dive school was great.
