We just came home from our 2 weeks trip to the Maldives. The rooms are nice, especially the open air bathtub. But the service is very poor, you have to wait 15-20 minutes for your drinks in the restaurant. The main restaurant have a la carte in the evening, but the serving of a la carte is also very poor. The quality of the food, is the worst I’ve ever seen in the Maldives some of the vegetables are not fresh.

Another thing is they don’t really clean the rooms more often, we had to call for room cleaning several times during our stay.

Overall, Lily Beach is not the Maldives I know. I know Maldives for excellent service, high class quality of food and helpfull staff – but unfortunately Lily Beach miss all this…

My wife and I stayed on this resort when we went to Maldives and it was an amazing experience. From the seaplane ride down to the resort to the layout of the villa, we stayed in an overwater bungalow with a glass bottom floor. The room is spacious and we enjoy the cool breeze. The jacuzzi was big enough and just a couple of steps down, you can go snorkeling.

I would definitely recommend it to anyone. We have stayed in several resorts in the Maldives but this one is really amazing. The staff are so friendly and helpful.

I wanted to surprise my wife with a short getaway and chose Lily beach. I booked the platinum plan which means all our normal activities are covered as well as food and drinks, it works well to leave you sit back and relax.

The food was great with so much to choose from. The service in the restaurants and bars was excellent and nothing was too much trouble for the staff.
