Experience fast food with a Maldivian twist!
For more of the Maldives, visit www.maldivesdivetravel.com
Red Cap fast food is located on second floor of Hotel Relax Inn. Its famous place for fast food among maldivian teen agers. Their staff is friendly but not efficient and food is just okay.
They are offering burgers, pizzas, drum sticks, steaks, breakfast, short eats, desserts, milk shakes and ice creams.
I tried their chicken burger deal which was just okay. However chocolate balls were really delicious. Chicken burger meal cost me 18 ruffiya ($ 1.5) and chocolate ball was 2 ruffiya each.

Shell Beans is located near Maale’ beach. Its expensive Italian coffee house serving wide variety of coffee and desserts. Its interior is very impressive and give you feeling if you are sitting in some European coffee house. Their coffee and desserts are really good although but a bit expensive. My favorite was their Cappuccino with fresh n delicious chocolate cake. One cup of Cappuccino costs US $1.5 (18 Maldivian Ruffiya).

Try some local treats from the Male’ Maldives
Visit the Maldives on your next summer holiday, visit www.maldivesdivetravel.com
Down Town Cafe can be found in a narrow street inside commercial area. It offers the best tasting local delicacies in town in my opinion. Take an adventure and wander around the Male’
Their menu as can be expected a long list of local, Thai, Chinese, Indian, Continental, Italian, Mexican and other international cuisine, It is no secret that the Maldives is a culinary melting pot. Food is really delightful, staff is efficient & friendly. When they came to know that I am from Pakistan so i used to get a special treatment. As i have already mentioned that Maldivians greatly respect Pakistani people.
Down Town Cafe is a great place for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, desserts or snacking and lounging around. Many young people and business men come to Down Town cafe to enjoy their delicious food.
Favorite Dish: Try their Banana shake . It costs 15 Ruffiya (Appox $1) but taste is really good. The best was fresh pineapple just in 12 Ruffiya ( $ 1). Their Nasi Gorang costing 30 Ruffiya ( $ 2.5) was the best ever i had in Maldives. Chinese fried chicken noodles costing 20 Ruffiya ( $ 1.5 appox) were also delicious.
Maldives is blessed with delicious bananas, pine apple and papaya. Tropical fruits from a tropical paradise. It is amazing!

One of the Male’s most popular excursions is the Whale Submarine! Find out why its a must!
For more information on the Maldives visit www.wwwmaldives.com Visit the Maldives on your next summer holiday with www.maldivesdivetravel.com
The Whale submarine unfortunately is not for whale watching. Its main purpose is for looking at life on the reef. It is highly recommended for kids and most non-scuba diving folk. As the submarine departs from a point off the coast you have to get a boat from either the airport or jetty number 1. One boat picks up from both to take you to the whale submarine. You should book ahead of time and make sure you get on the boat around 30 minutes before the schedules submarine departure.
The Whale Submarine takes a few minutes before it gets into its dive spot and then descends at about 35 meters while the passengers can gaze out through large round windows. Here they will begin to see a huge variety of fish that are attracted to the food that the submarine dispenses around it. The view of the underwater life is great! you can even spot the smaller creatures like lionfish and clownfish that live on the anemones. The sub then nears a reef wall and lights up the whole reef area to show natural occurring colors within the spectrum of the sea. Its really quite an amazing color splash!

Not only for honeymooners but for anyone who want to experience an amazing romantic evening.
Almost any Hotel or Island Resort would be able to execute this request. Besides its a Maldivian specialty.
Request your Hotel or Island Resort for a romantic candlelit dinner on a private island or sandbar. Book the event in secret for your special someone for that added romantic surprise. Ask your hotel’s representative for suggestions on how you can make this event special. Most hotels and resorts would recommend a private dinner with a with something like a 7 course meal each paired with wine on the resort’s wine room. Other’s may recommend a private island excursion, dinner will be set up by the crew and the both of you will be left there in 100% privacy under the stars and the moon with only one another as company in a small island.
Remember that almost all these hotels and resorts have their own specialty when it comes to private romantic evenings. Make sure you ask the hotel’s respective managers or representative. Make your loved one feel extra special! Arrange for a unique romantic evening Maldives style.
