meeru island dining Dining At The Meeru Island

The Meeru Island has numerous delightful restaurants, During our stay we could not resist sampling all the gastronomic pleasures that were waiting for us at the Meeru island.

The Dhoni Bar

First of we hustled for the nearest bar for a quick refreshing fix of cold refreshments.  The Dhoni bar is most definitely the place to go for drinks all day and all evening. It is conveniently located beside a pool for a quick dip and it also serves light snacks like chicken in a basket or some cheese toast, I did not bother with the burgers and the beef. Besides the alcoholic drinks which were always delightful the mango juice and the milkshakes were easily my favourites.

The Asian Wok Restaurant

As the name suggest it serves mainly Asian put more specifically Japanese because it specializes in tasty and entertaining Teppanyaki served off the grill full of flavor and flame. Located just beside the beach which is quite an experience for digesting a big order of Teppanyaki.

Hungaanu Coffee Shop

For those who would like to chill out and enjoy a great cup of coffee with a great view of the sea. It is here where all mornings should start all the time. Also located beside the swimming pool where your treats can be served while you are floating around. No worries if you missed the breakfast buffet the Hungaanu offers an ala-carte breakfast menu for late risers. Don’t miss out on the fresh fruit and ice cream!

Goma Restaurant

This restaurant provides such a unique dining experience that guests of the Meeru should not miss. Behold a restaurant/yacht that is anchored on the lagoon. Providing an amazing view of the turquoise horizon and help yourself to grilled specialties meticulously prepared with the freshest ingredients and seafood.

Dining at the Meeru Island was a most pleasurable experience that weaves into good memories along with a amazing summer island paradise vacation
