Kurumba gets its name from the coconut trees that grow abundantly all over the island. The Kurumba Maldives is the first of its kind; a exquisite private island resort. Experience true serenity and tranquility at the island of Kurumba. Go barefoot and stroll with a carefree whim; dine under the stars and the moon on the beach or wherever you please. A beautiful panoramic view of the island as the azure shoreline glows surrounded by a turquoise lagoon and a natural breakwater of weathered corals.
The Kurumba Maldives Accommodation
The Kurumba has a very unique and different approach to its villas. The villas are designed in such ways that they provide 100% privacy and at the same time a high level of comfort and technology without disrupting the tranquil feel of the island. Guests who stay at any of the villas that are available can expect high quality service and amenities. The rooms are very well arranged, designed and the feel is so relaxing upon entering the villas that you immediately feel a the toll of the urban grind being carried away by the sweet smelling cold breeze as it passes through your sun kissed villa.
The Kurumba Maldives Cuisine
There are nine different restaurants at the Kurumba Maldives each with its own special cuisine where you can indulge yourself with the best food made with the best ingredients by the best chefs. There are seven cuisines to choose from the line up of Kurumba Maldives. These meals can be enjoyed in so many different ways from romantic candle lit dinners or grand buffers with live bands and disco. The Kurumba Maldives takes pride it its specialty in private dining; a Crusoe dinner at the Kurumba Maldives is a cruise across the vast azure ocean into the sunset aboard a private yacht. Another popular private dining option that the Kurumba Maldives offers is the Pontoon Dinner wherein guests will dine on a floating Pontoon at the middle of the sea and served with an amazing barbecue meal with only the moon and the soft ripple waves as company; the service comes with a bottle of champagne and includes a 3 course dinner and of course a personal butler.
The Kurumba Maldives Scuba Diving
The Maldives is a world renowned diving spot because of its natural geographic formations known as atolls which are majestic upside down volcanoes that are perfect for marine life and all kinds of coral growth. The Maldives is known to house the best dive spots in the world and no Maldives tropical island paradise resort has no PADI or any other scuba diving school attached to it. The Kurumba Maldives housereef is no different; it is home to live coral growths on volcanic mountains which means thousands of different sights, scenes and magnificent fauna for paradise divers!
